The applicants must be age 17 or older and a member of the Seneca Nation of Indians or enrolled member of one of the Six Nation of the Iroquois Confederacy (Cayuga, Mohawk, Oneida , Onondaga, Tuscarora) or an enrolled member of any other federally state recognized tribe.
The applicant must reside on or near Allegany, Cattaraugus or Oil Springs territory.
The applicant must have documented physical or mental impairment which results in substantial impediment to obtaining gainful employment.
The program is designed to provide culturally appropriate vocational rehabilitation services to American Indians with disabilities consistent with their individual strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities and informed choice so that they may prepare for and engage in gainful employment.
