Main | Eligibility Requirements | Program Services | Disabilities Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Program The Seneca Nation of Indians Tribal vocational Rehabilitation program provides culturally appropriate vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals with disabilities that are members of the Seneca Nation of Indians or a federally or state recognized tribe. The participant must be age 17 or older and reside on or within a 20 mile radius of Cattaraugus and Allegany territory. The overall purpose of the program is to provide vocational rehabilitation services to American Indians with Disabilities to assist in obtaining employment. The Seneca Nation of Indians is one of the Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy. The current territory is located within Western New York on aboriginal land set aside by the 1794 Treaty of Canandaigua.
