Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner
Lionel R. John Health Center – Salamanca, NY

Basic Function:

Under the general administration of the Clinical Medical Director, to whom he/she is responsible, the nurse practitioner/physician assistant collaborates with each physician and is accountable to the physician for patient medical status assessment and for planning and implementing the medical regimen for each patient.

Qualifications:

Licensed and currently registered to practice in New York State, and a Bachelors of Science Degree, with an approved program in primary health care, Certified Nurse Practitioner Program approved by NYS, or Certified Physician Assistant, Satisfactory completion of an approved twelve month post graduate course of classroom and clinical experience in primary health care, and two years of satisfactory clinical experience. Ability to relate to special populations.
