The Seneca Nation of Indians (SNI) employs over 700 people with approximately 75% - 80% being Native American. The SNI has a diverse job market which includes the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, NY and the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca, NY. The SNI employs people in several Tribal departments, including jobs that range from maintenance and custodial to management and executive positions, as well as a number of positions for the various SNI Enterprises. These enterprises generate revenue that subsidize their own payroll and overhead, as well as that of the other SNI departments and programs.

Also located on the Cattaraugus Territory is an indoor sports arena available for recreation, practice and/or competition. There are also a variety of privately owned enterprises, ranging from gas stations and smoke shops to diners and convenience stores.
